Ryan Surprises Kids

Ryan Surprises Kids, At Texas charity event Ryan Gosling brought some Halloween joy to fans on October 27, after showing up at a charity event. The 31-year-old actor surprised kids and event organizers at a Spooky Skedaddle 5K charity event to benefit the School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas.

Gosling's co-stars Michael Fassbender and Rooney Mara, from the untitled Terrence Malick film, which is currently shooting in Austin, were also present at the event. According to E! News, they were shooting footage for the film.

"Ryan was extremely kind, allowing lots of photo ops with fans and when the director told him, 'Enough,' he said, 'No, one more,' and pulled a small deaf child out of the line for a picture," executive director of the Texas School for the Deaf Anne Adams told E! News. "Ryan is a wonderful person and we were delighted that they came!"

A local college student named Ghada Soufan posted photos of Gosling on her Twitter account (shown above), after Tweeting, "RYAN GOSLING JUST LOOKED AT ME."

Gosling will next be seen in the film "Gangster Squad" with Sean Penn and his "Crazy, Stupid, Love" co-star Emma Stone. He was recently spotted in Los Angeles filming reshoots for the movie.

The release date was pushed back its studio Warner Bros. in light of the movie theater shooting at a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Aurora, Colorado on July 20, 2012. "Gangster Squad" contained a scene of the lead characters shooting movie theater patrons through a screen, which was shown in the film's trailer.

The movie was set to be released on September 7, but it will now be released in January 2013.
