Chris Christie Snl

Chris Christie Snl, Chris Christie - and his infamous blue fleece - hit "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

The New Jersey governor made a cameo appearance on the show’s “Weekend Update” to talk Hurricane Sandy recovery and to take a couple pot shots at his signature outfit.
“It’s basically fused to my skin at this point,” Christie joked. “I’m gonna die in this fleece. But that’s OK, it’s a good fleece.”

Christie thanked the Red Cross and first responders for their help in the aftermath of the storm that ravaged the New Jersey coast.

He also gave a nod to his wife for putting up with “a husband who has smelled like a wet fleece for the last three weeks.”

Christie thanked the Red Cross and first responders on "SNL," but not the N.J. officials who ignored his evacuation orders.

The tough-talking governor, however, wasn’t all about gratitude.
He blasted the New Jersey officials who ignored his evacuation orders during the storm, calling them “idiots.”

Christie’s appearance came a day after he ducked questions about Twinkies-maker Hostess closing up shop to avoid giving comedians fodder.

"Really? Seriously? You're not asking me about Hostess Twinkies, are ya?" he said at a press conference Friday. "I'm on ‘Saturday Night Live’ enough.”
