Jay Cutler Injury

Jay Cutler Injury, Jay Cutler gets a lot of grief as the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears. However, his Bears are 7-2, leading the NFC North, and Cutler himself has 1,814 passing yards and 12 touchdowns on the season.

However, Fox Sports reported on Nov. 16 that Cutler will not play Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

Cutler suffered a concussion in the Week 10 game with the Houston Texans.

Cutler has only connected on 50-percent of his passes this season and has 10 interceptions. However, his connection with Brandon Marshall is undeniable and Cutler is the reason that Marshall has 67 receptions for 904 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

They are also much of the reason Chicago is off to a hot start.Jason Campbell, who last served as a starting quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, will step in to the starter's role on Monday night.''He's the next guy up and he's more than capable,'' Marshall said.

'I think when you look at what happened to the Bears last year, I think that's the reason why he's here. He's more than capable and we're fortunate to have a starting quarterback as our backup.''

One positive thing about Campbell is that he has always been an accurate quarterback, with a lifetime completion percentage of 60.8 and a QB rating of 82.6. The problem is that he has never been in a system that helps him put up big numbers. That might change now.

Jason Campbell is a great sleeper quarterback pick for any fantasy football league, especially with Marshall there to catch his passes. Marshall has to be started as well in every league.

However, Matt Forte and the running game might have a lot of problems running this week as the 49ers focus on stopping the run and making Campbell beat them. Forte is a good starter, but not a No. 1 talent this week.
