Knowing that each famously portrayed fighters in the past does not hurt Grudge Match filmmakers in their effort to get footage of each as a younger man. Of course, we all know that De Niro starred in Raging Bull and Stallone was Rocky.
Our first Grudge Match poster features the two superstars standing side by side in the ring. After seeing the Grudge Match trailer, this is one rematch decades in the making.
De Niro and Stallone portray boxers who were at the top of their game 30 years ago. They each earned a victory against the other, and on the eve of their third fight to decide who was best, something happened and it never occurred.
After a viral video of the two brawling in the street catches fire, a promoter (Kevin Hart) sees dollar signs and wants to get these two old fighters back in the ring to decide once and for all who is the best.
