The actor's mouth has been wired shut after he broke his jaw in a fall over the weekend at his Los Angeles home, reports E! News. The fall occurred when he slipped in a puddle of water at the entrance to his home on Sunday.
In addition to the broken jaw, Efron suffered a gash that required stitches. He's expected to make a full recovery, but plans to promote his new comedy That Awkward Moment have been put on hold. The movie is set for release in January.
