Montana Bride May Have Blindfolded Her Husband Before Killing Him, A Montana bride who is alleged to have killed her newlywed husband by pushing him off of a cliff while on a hike may have blindfolded him before pushing him to his death.
The defense team for Jordan Graham, the accused bride, are trying to block prosecutors from introducing the blindfold theory.
One of Graham’s attorneys, Michael Donahoe, said that his team had only recently found out that the prosecution had a theory that the murder was premeditated and not done in a moment of rage or during an argument.
The Inquisitr reported on the Glacier Park Murder back in September. It was reported then that Special Agent Steven Liss from the FBI had said in a sworn statement about the murder:
“Graham stated she could have just walked away, but due to anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff.”
Obviously the new theory by the prosecution that Montana bride Graham somehow blindfolded Cody Johnson, her husband, before pushing him would mean that, if convicted, a much harsher sentence may be given.
Graham said that during the trip to the park Johnson has talked to her like a child and grabbed her arm as they argued about whether they should have gotten married at the time they did.
According to the court transcripts, Graham said: “I think I didn’t realize that one push would mean for sure you were over. I felt like I shouldn’t have gotten married at that time, but not, there were not any issues of being with Cody, no. I feel like he’s the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with.”
Donahoe wrote in the court papers on Friday that it wasn’t plausible that Graham would have been able to blindfold Johnson in the midst of a heated argument.
It remains to be seen whether the defense’s attempt at blocking the “blindfold theory” will be successful and whether that line of argument will be brought by the prosecution when the court date for the trial arrives.
Do you think it is possible that the Montana bride who allegedly pushed her husband off a cliff could have blindfolded him and premeditated the murder in that way? Tell us what you think in the comments feed below.
