However, football fans eager to weigh in on the matter are finding those dissimilarities to be what are sometimes referred to as “distinctions without a difference” and are tweeting the reporter comments which ought to be going to the athlete. In many cases, the tweets contain some hateful words.

This has prompted Martin the reporter to respond back clarifying that he is not the athlete in question. He has also reproached those twitter fans by reminding them of the interpersonal civility online users often lose when making comments to another person via social networking.
