Eva Longoria split, has split from beau, Mark Sanchez. The actress and the New York Jets quarterback only dated for a couple of months, but on Oct. 23, PEOPLE Magazine confirmed that they have gone their separate ways. Despite trying to keep their romance on the DL for a few months, the duo finally came forward and admitted they were seeing each other... but their fling was short-lived.

"Eva and Mark split amicably and remain friends. There is no drama," a source revealed. Longoria has been dating around quite a bit since her split from ex-husband, Tony Parker. She has also been working hard to get her three Tony-related tattoos removed.

Eva Longoria split from her ex, Eduardo Cruz—actress Penelope Cruz's brother—shortly before she began hooking up with Mark Sanchez. Many believed that Longoria's relationship with Cruz was extremely serious... like marriage status... but evidently he served his purpose as a rebound relationship.

While Sanchez has been linked to a few celebrities—including super model, Kate Upton—his relationship with Longoria was the first confirmation of any huge Hollywood hook-up for the NFL player. It is probable that his relationship with Longoria didn't last because of their crazy schedules... or perhaps they just weren't compatible. It happens. At least she doesn't have to get any tattoos removed following this split.

Eva Longoria's split isn't surprising. No one really expected her and Mark Sanchez to get engaged. She's just having fun... and there's nothing wrong with that.
