Jesus Look-Alike Kicked Out Darts

Jesus Look-Alike Kicked Out Darts, Honest to God; this actually happened. When Nathan Grindal showed up to the Cash Converters Players' Championship, he became an overnight celebrity, albeit the wrong reasons.

In a Dec. 12 report, the Mirror noted that the 33-year-old laborer got a "sacred dart" surprise when 4,000 fans in attendance erupted in song.

When the crowed began yelling, "Stand up if you love Jesus," it reportedly distracted Belgian player, Kim Huybrechts and legend of the oche Phil "The Power" Taylor.

Moments later, security staff surrounded the Messiah doppelganger and led him out of the main area. Away from the choir flash-mob, he was allowed to watch the match on a television. Jesus look-alike kicked out? Surprisingly, so, but stranger things have happened.

"It was distressing. I was emotionally distraught. The crowd were bullying me and picking on me. It would have been OK if security hadn't made a fuss getting me out," said the Jesus look-alike on being kicked out.

"In his post-match interview, Phil Taylor said something like, 'If I ever see Jesus again, I'll crucify him myself.' Now that’s just hurtful," Grindal added.

It's unknown what mix of the crowd were believers in Jesus Christ or atheists making a mockery of the entire thing.

Although the Jesus look-alike was kicked out of the darts competition, he got a parting gift. As if to offer consolation, runner-up, Kim Huybrechts, signed his tournament program which read, "To Jesus. Hard luck mate."
