Jim palmer selling autographed underwear

Jim palmer selling autographed underwear, Jim Palmer is best remembered as a Hall of Fame pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. He was also an underwear model for Jockey in the 1970s. (Not sure if they have their own spokes-model Hall of Fame.) Palmer, boy this guy was busy, also had time to film a series of ads for the Money Store back in the late 80s/early 90s. He still works as an analyst on MASN telecasts.

A pair of signed underwear by Palmer  recently went up on eBay and sold for $62.99. Is that a good price for Hall of Famer-signed underwear? They don’t appear to be Palmer’s actual garments (nor are they Jockeys). Presumably they’re not the first sets of underwear Palmer has signed during his life since they were signed all the way back in 2008.

The bigger question: what do you do with this item after you win it? Frame it to hang in your den or man cave? Save it for the holiday season to give to a co-worker as a Secret Santa goof? Try to get the underwear appraised by the guys on “Pawn Stars”?
