Browns Employee Suicide

Browns Employee Suicide, A Cleveland Browns employee committed suicide Saturday by hanging himself in the NFL team's equipment shed, Inquisitr reports Dec. 2. The incident happened the same day Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher, killed his girlfriend then himself with a gun.

According to NFL.com, the employee was an assistant groundskeeper by the name of Eric Eucker. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office was went to the training facility in Berea, Ohio to investigate a possible suicide.

The Cleveland Browns football team issued a statement over the employee's tragic suicide:

"This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to Eric’s family. Eric was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization.”

"This is a terrible tragedy," said Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis. "He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization."

No further details have been released on the Browns employee suicide -- or a motive behind Eucker's decision to end his life. Two terrible fatal tragedies have engulfed the NFL world in one weekend.
