jennette mccurdy show, Jennette McCurdy's new show will be airing on Nickelodeon after the popular show "iCarly" is wrapped. The actress showed her fun and spunk alongside Miranda Cosgrove and producers saw a serious star. It's for this reason that the network has offered her a new show, one that she can call her own. On August 6, CBS News confirmed that McCurdy's show will start filming soon.

"The network has tapped McCurdy and actress Ariana Grande to star in a spinoff tentatively titled, 'Sam & Cat.' The series will follow the girls' characters, Sam Puckett from 'iCarly' and Cat Valentine from 'Victorious,' as they become roommates and start a baby-sitting business," CBS reports. It sounds like this is going to be a big success for the girls... and Nickelodeon.
Jennette McCurdy's show will be geared toward pre-teens and kids a bit younger. The demographic is not unlike that of "iCarly" and "Drake and Josh." It seems like this type of show does really well on Nick and kids really love tuning in.

 While Miranda Cosgrove was the major star that came out of "iCarly," fans of the show really loved McCurdy and thought her character was pretty awesome. It's cool that she is going to get to play the "same" character but with a new script—and she's totally pumped for it. "I couldn't be under a better person's wing, so I'm really happy about that decision. I haven't seen a script ... so I'm dying for information," McCurdy said in a recent interview. Jennette McCurdy's show will likely begin airing later this year or in early 2013.
