Big Brother Alum Britney Haynes’ Newborn Daughter Diagnosed With Cancer, Being on Big Brother definitely teaches the house guests how to deal with the unexpected, but sometimes, the unexpected is heartbreaking. Unfortunately, that is what Big Brother alum Britney Haynes is going through right now, as her newborn daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Having a new baby should be a time of joy, not heartbreak. But for Britney Haynes and her husband Nathan “Ryan” Godwin, their happiness was short lived. The couple, who welcomed their first child, a baby girl in July, have recently revealed that their daughter is battling cancer.

While the exact details are not entirely clear, Hanyes posted to her Facebook page recently: “On September 1st, we were among the daily 720 sets of parents to be absolutely devastated with a childhood cancer diagnosis. Please take the time to pray for these children, our sweet baby included,” and she tagged Ryan in the post.

Fans then began to question the validity of the Facebook post. Twitter fans went crazy looking for confirmation that the post was real, to which season 8 and 13′s Evel Dick Donato responded to on Twitter, posting: “Yes, she sent out a text to a lot of BB people before going public.” Donato went on to reveal that Hanyes sent the text a couple weeks ago, but he said she did not state what type of cancer it is.

On Saturday, Hanyes took to Twitter to post a thank you to all her fans and supporters that have been praying for her daughter.

This news is absolutely heartbreaking. All of our thoughts and prayers here at RTVM go out to Britney’s beautiful baby girl!
