'Charmed' reboot may work its magic at CBS, It has been 15 years since Charmed‘s Halliwell sisters first cast their spell on us, but if CBS has anything to say about it, the power of three could find its way back to our television sets.
EW has confirmed that CBS TV Studios has given a script deal to a reboot of the popular WB series, which ran for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006 and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan as the powerful witches who used their powers (and one very helpful grimoire) to fight evil.
Chris Keyser (Party of Five) and Sydney Sidner are on board as executive producers and will write the script for the reboot, which will center around four sisters who realize that they’re destined to use their witchcraft to fight forces of evil. The Tannenbaum Co. will also executive produce.
