Sesame street homeland, Long-running children's television series Sesame Street has released a parody of Homeland called Homelamb.
In the puppet version of the show, Claire Danes's Carrie, Mandy Patinkin's Saul and David Harewood's Estes are sheep - who enlist the help of the Big Bad Wolf (Brody, played by Damian Lewis).
Sheep FBI agents interrogate the Big Bad Wolf before discovering that he is, actually, a wolf in sheep's clothing.
For adult fans of Homeland rather than children, there are various references to the series.
In the spoof, Carrie is suspicious about the wolf and asks: "Have you ever seen a sheep howl?"
To which sheep-Estes replies: "So he speaks other languages!"
Sesame Street has also parodied Sons of Anarchy and imitated various songs in popular culture - such as 1234 by Leslie Feist and My Triangle (You're Beautiful) by James Blunt.
The cookie monster also recently appeared on BBC Newsnight - and was interviewed by presenter Emily Maitlis...
Homeland has previously been imitated by the popular animated series The Simpsons, which premiered its 25th season with a spoof of the thriller series.
Titled Homerland, Lisa is suspicious that Homer has been turned during a nuclear power plant convention - in a parody of Claire Danes and US marine Damian Lewis.
