Ex-girlfriend says she sent doctor racy photos day after his wife died
Ex-girlfriend says she sent doctor racy photos day after his wife died, Gypsy Willis, Dr. Martin MacNeill's former girlfriend, testified Tuesday at his trial in Utah she sent him racy photos the day he allegedly killed his wife.

Willis also told a jury she and MacNeill concocted a fake military ID for her that gave the day of Michele MacNeill's funeral as their wedding day, the Deseret News reported.

MacNeill, an osteopathic physician who was also a lawyer, allegedly drowned his wife in the bathtub on April 11, 2007, after giving her painkillers.

Willis, 37, who began testifying Monday, pleaded guilty in 2011 to identity fraud in an agreement that required her to testify against MacNeill. A prosecutor told the judge Tuesday, however, that Willis was still trying to protect MacNeill, saying before she took the stand that she is considered a hostile witness.

Willis described three photos she sent MacNeill the day after his wife died, including one that showed her back and part of her buttocks. Another revealed her bare shoulders, suggesting she was nude, and a third showed her lying in bed.

Vicki Willis also testified, telling the jury her family was happy when MacNeill proposed to her daughter, asking "Who wouldn't be?" She said the proposal was made less than five months after his wife died, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

"They were both very happy," Vicki Willis said. "He made a speech about his love for her and made a very public show of dropping to one knee and asking her to marry him."

Vicki Willis said MacNeill told her he had loved his wife as a sister, although they had eight children together.
