The Big Bang Theory' raises: Do the major players deserve $1 million per show?, The Big Bang Theory" raises will be high for co-stars Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler, and Melissa Rauch, who plays Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, as reported at The Hollywood Reporter on Sept. 18, 2013. Currently, the actresses make $20,000 to $30,000 per episode, and that will allegedly jump to $100,000 per episode in new deals with Warner Bros. Television. Now, the other co-stars, the ones who are considered the leads, are seeking huge raises, as well.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper, Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard Hofstadter, and Kaley Cuoco who plays Penny, earn an approximate $325,000 per episode. However, if they are successful in their goal, their "The Big Bang Theory" raises could bring them up to $1 million per episode. Simon Helberg, who plays Howard Wolowitz, and Kunal Nayyar, who plays Raj Koothrappali, want more money, as well.

Some people may disagree with the notion of stars making $1 million per episode. However, since "The Big Bang Theory," which drew an audience of 14.8 million in the US for its season finale, is hugely popular, do the major players deserve it? Parsons and Galecki are extremely funny, and Americans can identify with the blonde Cuoco. She's beautiful, but at the same time, she's funny, and she's someone you'd love to call a friend.

Do you think "The Big Bang Theory" raises should include $1 million per episode for the major players? Please leave a comment.
