Shanola Hampton expecting, Shameless star Shanola Hampton and her husband Daren Dukes are expecting their first child.

The couple announced to People that they will be welcoming a baby girl early next year.Hampton and Dukes said in a joint statement: "We are beyond excited to expand our family and begin this new chapter. Words can't describe the joy our hearts feel."

Dukes - a television producer - and Hampton have been married for 13 years.

Hampton is best known for playing Veronica Fisher in the Showtime series Shameless.

She has also appeared in Scrubs, Reba and the 2010 comedy film You Again.
