Norwegian royals get puppies, The Norwegian royals have released the latest of their family albums featuring their pet Milly Kakao and her nine adorable puppies.
Clearly huge animal lovers, Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, husband Prince Haakon and children Marius Borg Hoiby, Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus can be seen in the series of pictures in various poses, all together and in separate shots.
"I think it's called love...... " tweeted Princess Mette-Marit, 39, recently, with a photograph of her daughter Ingrid Alexandra with one of the beautiful black fluffy puppies resting on her tummy, the two nose to nose in a sweet pose.
The intimate family pictures, taken by Norwegian photographer Veronica Melå at the Crown Prince and Crown Princess' holiday home at Dvergsøya outside Kristiansand, also show Mette-Marit giving one of the pups a kiss – showing that it isn't only her children that love the new additions to the household.
The Norwegian royals shared the latest photos of them taken in the lounge and other areas of their holiday cottage on social media network Facebook on Monday, showing that even their pet has a royal title.
"The Crown family dog, Milly Kakao, had nine puppies 15 June. This series of photos of the Royal Family and the puppies are taken at Dvergsøya in the second week in July."
Shortly after Mette-Marit took to her Twitter account to announce that Milly had given birth to pups.
"And then they were five," she tweeted, with an adorable image of the young labradoodles.
"Currently, there are seven," was the caption that then accompanied another picture on the Norwegian royal family's official Facebook page, Kongehuset, showing that yet more puppies had been born.
The puppies are proving to be a huge success with royal supporters.
A staggering 7,061 people liked the photograph and more than 400 left messages of congratulations. The latest professionally-captured shots attracted 3,026 likes.
