Looks like Khloe Kardashian actually meant it when she told Twitter users she felt too “protective” to deal with their trash talking. But what the star is really trying to protect is her relationship with Lamar Odom, which, at this point, is on super thin ice. Fortunately for Khloe, it looks like Lamar has seen the error in his ways and is ready to get back in his wife’s good graces.
Sources tell Hollywood Life that this second stab at a happy marriage is Lamar’s number one priority at the moment….even if it means backing off on his athletic goals. “Really, basketball’s not even on Lamar’s mind. He’s got bigger issues now, bigger than playing basketball…Priorities comes and instead of having the basketball in both his hands, he needs to have a tight grip on his life and these issues he’s been having.”
The insider doesn’t expand on the nature of these ‘issues,’ but they may have something to do with all the rumors of cheating and drug use. If there is any truth to the gossip, the athlete will definitely want to reassess his priorities. Fortunately, he is lucky enough to have a great advocate in Khloe, who, despite all the drama, appears to be steadfastly remaining by her husband’s side. “I don’t know that many women with the strength to go through all this and in public. [Khloe's] true to [Lamar] and he knows that deep down.”
