Larry on Bill and Hillary Clinton:
"I’ve had many dinners with Bill Clinton, and lunches and interviews and what you can say about Bill Clinton is he is the greatest politician of our lifetime. He pays complete attention to whomever he has ever talked to. He’s a great listener as well as a great talker. He can overcome bad things better than anyone I’ve seen.
They used to say there is a second act in America and he certainly proves it. Most people forget he is an impeached president and that almost never comes up. The Clinton Family is extraordinary, I know Hillary very well—think she was a great Secretary of State I think he would like to see her run for president.
I don’t know if she has made up her mind. If she would run she would be very, very, very, very, very, very, very formidable. They’re quite a pair despite all the difficulties I think they remain a strong couple and have a great daughter—I’ve spent time with her. I had a great time once when she was 14-years-old watching the movie Rudy in the White House sitting with Clinton and she came next to him sharing popcorn—that was a wonderful night, and with him next to him was the red phone – I said 'What’s the red phone?' he said, 'That’s to Moscow!'"
