Tiger woods and lindsey vonn, The National Enquirer has, quite expectedly, been known to have credibility issues. But it did get one thing right right in 2009, when it reported that Tiger Woods was sleeping with several women who were not his wife.

Now the latest report from everyone’s favorite tabloid to read in the grocery checkout line (and then put back on the rack) has Tiger’s new love interest, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, turning the tables on the world’s No. 1 golfer.

According to the Enquirer, Vonn was spotted getting romantic with someone other than Woods backstage at a Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z concert.

After the concert was over, Lindsey and a group of female friends, carrying drinks, made their way backstage, and Lindsey spotted a guy she very obviously knew well," a source told the Enquirer.

She threw herself into his arms and they started on a long session of deep kissing that went on for several minutes. He was a tall, good-looking man, in his mid-40s, with greying temples. They were really going at it."

The quote, like most of the quotes in this and any Enquirer story, reads like something from a sappy romance novel — and it’s also a complete fabrication, according to Vonn herself.

"There is not an ounce of truth in this clearly made up story," a representative for Vonn told the New York Daily News.

So Vonn maybe-but-probably-didn’t cheat on Tiger — she was in Miami for a Timberlake and Jay-Z concert back in August. However,that’s hardly an admission of guilt — and it’s up to you to decide whether you want to believe what the Enquirer is selling.

In any case, Tiger should probably continue to make sure he stays on her good side and leaves the toilet seat down, just as a precaution.
