Tim tebow broadcasting agent, Tim Tebow has hired a "prominent broadcast agent" and may be ready to launch a college broadcasting career, according to NFL.com.

In addition to long-time agent Jimmy Sexton, Tebow, 26, has now hired CAA's Nick Khan to represent him, NFL.com reports. Tebow last played in a regular-season NFL game for the New York Jets in 2012.

The Patriots cut him during the preseason and despite being linked to such teams as the Bears, Rams and Jaguars the former Florida star has yet to catch on with any other team. A Jacksonville councilman recently petitioned the Jaguars to sign the Florida native, where billboards and posters have also popped up across town in support of the four-year veteran.

Sources tolf NFL.com Tebow would prefer to work college games over pro ones and may be open to beginning his new career as early as next season. To date, Tebow has resisted all suggestions that he either change positions or get more seasoning on a less than NFL-level stage in hopes of getting his playing career back on track.

Tebow's best NFL season came as a second-year with the Denver Broncos when he passed for 1, 729 yards and 12 touchdowns against just six interceptions.
