Joe and teresa giudice charged with fraud, There has been a major update in the arrest of Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe and Teresa Giudice. Nancy Grace recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, where the talking head predicted that the Giudices would be serving jail time.
Things have been pretty bad for the Giudices, since it was revealed that Teresa and Joe have been charged with 39 counts of fraud. If convicted, the couple will face millions in fines and up to 50 years in jail. Joe could also be deported if found guilty.
As of now, Bravo has skirted around the issue. Of course, that all changed when Nancy Grace appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Gossip site Bustle offered the following description of the spectacle:
“When a caller asked Grace to predict what will happen when these two bozos are sentenced in February, the southern prosecutor was more than happy to share her thoughts. Grace explains that she thinks Teresa and Joe were in it together and believes that the Feds will make an example out of them, like they did with Martha Stewart. Grace explains in no uncertain terms that “they’re going down” and when Cohen counters that Teresa Giudice said she had no idea what was going on, Grace stares him down like he’s a little boy with chocolate all over his face, insisting that no, he didn’t eat that donut, he swears.”
Nancy’s criticism aside, the Giudices have enough to worry about. The impending trial has taken quite a strain on Teresa, as a source revealed to OK! Magazine:
“Teresa wants everyone to think she is this tough, together Italian women, but the truth is she is scared. The night before her court appearance was too much for her to handle. She felt sick to her stomach and threw up several times before she broke down crying...When she calmed down, she forced herself to drink orange juice to get her blood sugar up.”
Since their high-profile arrest, Teresa has all but stop eating. According to the same source:
“Joe begged her to eat something but she just couldn’t. Teresa was horrified because she is doing everything she can to shield her children from this nightmare and she knows if they see her freak out, they’ll freak out.”
