Taye Diggs guest star, TAYE Diggs is set to guest-star in an episode of Fox’s New Girl.

The Private Practice star will play Artie, a self-assured ladies’ man who meets Jess (Zoey Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone) at the bar while Nick (Jake Johnson) is out on a guys’ night.

Diggs — who hits the big screen next week in the romantic comedy Baggage Claim — will shoot his scenes next week.

New Girl season 3 premiere: Paradise by the Dashboard Light

The episode, which is slated to air later this fall, also marks the return of Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.), who was last seen in the show’s pilot. The Happy Endings alum has signed on for a multiple-episode arc.
