Michigan road rage, A Michigan road rage incident has left two men dead, according to reports. USA Today shared the details on Sept. 20 of the encounter that led to shots being fired and both Robert Taylor and James Pullum dying on a Grand Rapids street.

The Michigan road rage encounter happened Wednesday evening just before 7 p.m. Reports indicate that one driver followed another a bit too closely, and things got ugly and deadly soon after. The first driver pulled into a car wash and the second followed. WZZM indicates that the men got out of the car and got into a heated confrontation. The driver of the second car allegedly was the first to fire gun shots, and the first driver fired back.

Both James Pullum, 43, and Robert Taylor, 56, had licenses allowing them to carry concealed weapons. Pullum was driving a Fort Taurus and had two passengers with him, though were both uninjured. Taylor was driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser. People from a laundromat found the men on the ground after they'd been shot and tried to save them with CPR, but neither were able to survive.

Though AeroMed was brought to the scene of the Michigan road rage incident, neither victim ended up being transported to the hospital. Friends and family of both men have conflicting versions detailing what happened, it seems, and authorities continue to investigate the deadly Michigan road rage incident.
