Kanye west kim kardashian, Kanye West isn't exactly known for being a happy kind of guy, but looks like being a dad has changed that as the Yeezus star looked pretty happy as he hit New York fashion week over the weekend and even had a smile for the dreaded paparazzi.

The 36 year-old is known to be no fan of the cameras, even admitting in a recent interview that it was living in the spotlight was a sacrifice he had to make to be with Kim, but clearly he wasn't feeling camera shy on Saturday as he hit the front row at Alexander Wang and Louise Goldin.

Spotted in between shows in Soho, baby North's dad had quite a grin as he walked the streets in double denim and Timberland boots. Rapper turned stylist West is a regular feature at Fashion Week and though girlfriend Kim usually accompanies him, the reality TV star was probably at home with their gorgeous new daughter.

Kanye, who has been responsible for Kim's fashion makeover since they started dating in 2012, recently opened up about becoming a father during an appearance on grandmother's Kris Jenner's show talk show. He gushed:

"There were times [after his mother, Donda's death], I would put my life at risk. I didn't have something to live for. Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for." Speaking about his relationship with the paps he revealed he would endure it for Kim.

"I don’t care," he insisted, "I love this woman. So someone could say, ‘The paparazzi surround you — if you don’t like paparazzi why would you be with this person? Everyone knows you don’t like paparazzi, why would you be with this person?’ And I’m like ‘I’m with this person because I love this person and she’s worth it to me." He went on: "She is my joy, and she brought my lead joy into the world. I love this person."
