Charlie admits exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that it can’t be easy for Morgana: “She’s required to share parts of me that she wouldn’t really want to share so of course with the nature of this role that’s going to be times ten.”

So instead of telling his girlfriend that he was taking the role, he made it a mutual decision. “She was a part of the decision-making process,” Charlie says. “But she loved the books, she read them and loved them and she was really excited at the potential of this opportunity for me.”

That sort of support is remarkable — considering the things Charlie will have to do with his co-star Dakota Johnson as the star of Fifty Shades of Grey — and it’s proof that their relationship is extremely strong. Charlie agrees: “If anything, I think it will bring us closer.”
