Anna camp how i met your mother, On Aug. 29 Carter Matt reports that Anna Camp from the hit HBO vampire drama, "True Blood" will be guest staring in an episode instead of Ellie Kemper.
Anna will be playing a wedding guest named Cassie, of the Robin/ Barney wedding that is being described as attractive and available. While Ted will likely have a brief dating encounter with her, fans already know that Cristin Milioti is set to be Ted's long awaited wife.
The part that Anna has signed on for is slated as being only one episode, but it could extend depending on how the plot thickens and if they choose to extend her story line. The entire season nine is going to be surrounding just two days in time so it is more than possible that several of the wedding guests could make longer than expected appearances.
This past year has been a busy one for Anna Camp as she has appeared in "The Mindy Project" and just finished a long role in "True Blood." Because of the way that the season ended with Jason Stackhouse letting her free instead of killing her, she could potentially return in season seven for a guest appearance but it isn't expected.
