NFL player wants fans drunk

NFL player wants fans drunk, An NFL player wants fans drunk at an upcoming Sunday game that could make or break the team when it comes to the playoffs, Inquisitr reports Dec. 7. Chad Greenway of the Minnesota Vikings is urging fans to be extremely drunk.

“We have to play accordingly and our fans have to show up accordingly, which we know they will,” Greenway. “Hopefully, they’re super- duper drunk. … So drink liquor, not beer.”

The NFL team is going up against the Chicago Bears. With a record of 6-6 for the season, the Vikings could make it to the final playoffs if they win.

The Minnesota Vikings linebacker isn't just suggesting fans get drunk, he thinks morning drinking would be the best measure for fans to take before showing up at the football game. It starts at 12 p.m..

“Yeah, I would say morning drinking,” Greenway added. “Why not? You could pull an all-nighter. Then you’d have the drunk, tired guys who will really be obnoxious.”

Chad Greeway later softened his comments when he was in an ESPN interview. He admitted he could have chosen a better way to say things.

“I just wanted the fans at home to be loud like they always are. I think just trying to drive that point home I probably got a little loose with my words. Obviously, I should have been a little more responsible with it. It was said, so what do you do?”
