Katt Williams continues to find himself ensnared in controversy on a week-to-week basis. He’s currently being sued by his own fans in a class action lawsuit. Williams is accused of performing on-stage for just 10 minutes in a show customers paid full price to attend.
As if that wasn’t enough, Williams was caught on video slapping a Target employee in the face. Strangely enough, the employee who was assaulted by Williams has since been fired.
It wasn’t long after that event that Williams announced he would retire from stand-up comedy. In an interview with KOMO News, Katt said he was “kinda done” with the joke-telling business. Days later, a member of Katt Williams’ team recanted the statement by Katt, and informed fans and the media that Katt’s comedy tour will continue as planned.
