nba trade rumors

nba trade rumors
nba trade rumors - Back on February 27th, I wrote that the Bucks were starting to shop Andrew Bogut. At the time, it was unclear which teams his suitors would be, but now, the number one team I speculated upon (and was called crazy by readers for doing so) has emerged—The Golden State Warriors, as Ken Berger of CBS Sports reported.

It's no secret they've been unhappy with Andris Biedrins, and while Ekpe Udoh is developing, he's still a couple years away from being anywhere near starter caliber.

Andrew Bogut would make Warriors fans forget the failures at center, and Bogut's passing skills teamed up with the excellent court vision of power forward David Lee would make the Warriors a dangerous team both in transition and in the half court.

There is of course going to be a major roster overhaul if Bogut ends up in the Bay Area, because they are obtaining Bogut as part of a three team trade rumor that has surfaced in the last 24 hours.

Realistically, it's difficult to know what we're looking at with the Warriors potential lineup, but don't be surprised to see it look like this:

(If this three way trade went down, as reported by Jarrod Rudolph of Real GM, and later confirmed by ESPN)

PG- Stephen Curry

SG- J.J. Redick

SF- Hedo Turkoglu

PF- Ryan Anderson

C- Andrew Bogut

Quite a makeover!

Four new starters, three of them former Magic players.

Mark Jackson would be in heaven with that team, and Klay Thompson would eventually replace Turkoglu at small forward.

It's not the most alluring lineup excitement wise, but it would be an effective team, and the Warriors would still likely be adding another decent rookie to the mix with a late lottery pick this year in all likelihood. That team could make the Playoffs consistently, and with the rabid Warriors fan base, that is actually enough.
