Kiefer Sutherland touch

Touch, a drama pilot fronted by 24 alum Kiefer Sutherland and penciled in for a midseason berth on Fox, is eliciting strong praise… even as it awaits an official pick-up to series.
“I can’t confirm [the series order] yet, but we’re staffed on Touch and they’re writing scripts now,” Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly told reporters on Friday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “Look, to be honest with you, if the pilot was lousy, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. But I think the pilot is potentially great.”
Touch revolves around a father (Sutherland) who discovers that his son (played by David Mazouz) can predict events before they happen. Danny Glover costars as Arthur DeWitt, a professor and expert on children who possess special gifts. Heroes creator Tim Kring penned the script and will serve as an exec producer.
“[It] could be an extraordinary show,” Reilly said, noting that between Touch, Alcatraz and The Finder, “I really like what were sitting on [for midseason].”
